Welcome to The Lakeland Elementary - Mayfield Campus Website

Miss Vagnetti's School Counselor's Page!

To my students and their families of Lakeland Elementary-Mayfield Campus, "WELCOME!!!" to the 23-24 school year!  This school year will mark my nineteenth year as the Elementary School Counselor at the Lakeland Elementary-Mayfield Campus.   My focus will remain on encouraging students' growth in the academic, social/personal(utilizing our newly purchased SEL program, Character Strong) and career (during the 21-22 school year, our students were introduced to Smart Futures. This is a district wide program that we will be utilizing to fulfill state mandated career education) domains .   The various ways in which I attempt to promote such growth and development is through conducting individual and small group counseling( short term interventions ), conducting classroom guidance lessons (i.e. large group counseling), consultation/collaboration, referrals to outside services ( including mental and physical health ), student advocacy, and crisis intervention.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any concerns and/or questions that you believe I may be of assistance.   I can be reached by phone at (570)-254-9485 ext. 4003 or via email at [email protected].  Please also feel free to follow me on twitter(@daneen_vagnetti), where I will be posting various newsletters from time to time.
